Lightning flashes over a shot of the Crypt Keeper's house.
The Crypt Keeper enters his home and tosses away a couple of briefcases.
The Old Witch and the Vault Keeper appear and chase the Crypt Keeper throughout his house. The three narrowly avoid a guillotine, an iron maiden, and a hooded executioner swinging his axe.
Desperate for a way to flee his two enemies, the Crypt Keeper jumps into a book. The Vault Keeper and the Old Witch follow.
The Crypt Keeper is drinking tea in one page, but sics a fearsome dog on the Vault Keeper and the Old Witch.
The Crypt Keeper chases the Vault Keeper and the Old Witch to the lab of a mad scientist, where they are scared away by a Frankenstein monster coming to life and growling.
On the third page, the three horror hosts encounter the resident monster hunter Van Hellstrom, who brings up a chainsaw and tries to attack them.
The Crypt Keeper, the Vault Keeper, and the Old Witch all escape the book and leave Van Hellstrom trapped inside at the mercy of a vampire, a werewolf, and a zombie.
The three all cackle menacingly at Van Hellstrom's predicament.
The title "Tales from the Cryptkeeper" appears and the Crypt Keeper reads it aloud.
